AN
HAPPINESS KIT?: a little bag with iconic objects that remind what brings
happiness (the science of Positive Psychology says that). You carry them around, you touch them, you
look at them, you start practising a “cognitive reconstruction” which means that practise makes perfect.
Mostly, happiness kits differ from each other, depending on the country and availability of happiness objects. This is a Canadian kit and it contains:
- a plastic ballon: play with your friends,
- an elastic: go beyond your limits and be resilient
- a little candle: remember about gratitude,
- a medal for your achievements: do engaging things
- a flower: remeber to savour nature
- a playing card, the right card for the game you are playing: be optimistic
- an eraser to erase mistakes: practise forgiveness,
- an umbrella to protect from over-thinking
- a little bunch of flowers for someone: be kind
- a calendar to plan: have goals!
- a bell: be spiritual
- love your body: a spoon to eat good food
